The following is a little backgound information about me: I was born and raised in the Inwood Section of upper Manhattan in New York City, which was a great neighborhood to grow up in. I lived at 87 Vermilyea Avenue, across from the post office. As a young teenager, I sold hot dogs at Yankee Stadium, worked for a chemical company in Manhattan, worked in the back office of a Wall Street brokerage and even was a NYC Fireman for a short period of time. EDUCATION: 1980 - M.P.A. City University of New York (John Jay College) New York, NY 1977 - B.S. Pace University Pleasantville, NY 1975 - A.A.S. Westchester Community College Valhalla, NY 1960 - Cardinal Hayes H.S. in the Bronx, NY EMPLOYMENT HISTORY: 1997 to present Currently the owner of the Gray Rider Real Estate Company specializing in Commercial, Residential, Business and International Real Estate Brokerage. 1997 to 2004 Adjunct Instructor (evening) - Hudson Valley Community College Course: "Introduction to Terrorism" 1966 to 1997 New York State Police - Starting out as a State Trooper and advancing through the ranks until reaching the rank of Lieutenant Colonel - Assistant Deputy Superintendent. In this last position, I was responsible for the supervision of over 3,000 uniformed members of the State Police. During this long career, I worked a wide variety of assignments including narcotics, Bureau of Criminal Investigation, violent crime apprehension, internal affairs, etc. and received numerous commendations. AUTHOR of "POW-83" - Published Nov-1999 - Book about a Columbia County man who was a Prisoner of War held by the Japanese in the Philippines during World War II. MILITARY - New York National Guard from 1964 to 1970. Active duty from Nov 64 to Apr 65. MARRIED: My Wife's name is Stacy. I have three grown daughters. ORGANIZATIONAL MEMBERSHIPS:
